Experiential learning, theoretical inquiry, and supervision.
Participants experience the études, reflect on what unfolds, connect the practice to their professional encounters, and develop their participation through further practice and supervision.
International Professional Course
For practitioners whose work happens between people.
The course is for therapists, educators, artists, organizational practitioners, community facilitators, and others working with people — including practitioners working with autistic and other neurodivergent people and minimally speaking people.
Experience, conceptual understanding, and professional application develop together. Participants practice the études as participants and as facilitators, study the concepts that describe what they noticed, and bring their own professional encounters into the room.
What participants practice
Learning intentions.
- 01Attending to timing, intensity, gesture, voice, words, and materials.
- 02Recognizing relations across changing forms of expression.
- 03Joining an ongoing activity through a responsive contribution.
- 04Noticing how that contribution is taken up.
- 05Practicing variation, pauses, return, and shifts in initiative.
- 06Connecting experience in the études to professional work.
